The story...

Capturing hundreds of years of history all in one go, we started shooting at 4:30am when the sun began to cast a glow in the eastern Nagano sky.  Camera in place, we waited for the right moment...  and within minutes it seemed the sun just popped up over the mountains and we were off and running.

Spending the entire day at Nakadanasou, we had perfect clear weather for a shoot.  The morning was beautiful, the air crisp, and as the day wore on we were graced with a warm afternoon light for our evening series as well.  I cant imagine a better day for a photographer.
