The story...

Nakadansou is one of those places that I absolutely enjoy shooting photos at. Its relaxing and its refreshing.... and even when it rained I still got some great shots! Its just that sort of place.
— m. williams, art director

Nakadanasou is a 5 star rated traditional Japanese Inn and hot springs located in Komoro, Nagano.

Founded in 1892, Nakadanasou has a rich history and heritage that gives the entire place its own unique atmosphere.  The staff are caring, the food is great, and its just comforting to be there.

m2imageworks first starting working with Nakadanasou in 2008.  While the overall design has not changed drastically since our first site for them went live in 2009, we've since upgraded and rebuilt it to run on ExpressionEngine 2 so that every site visitor may enjoy a very responsive and attractive website.

All of the site photography was shot by m2 as well.  According to m2imageworks' art director, Matthew Williams, Nakadanasou is one of those places that is a pleasure to shoot - rain or shine - great photos are everywhere.  Its just that sort of place.

We hope you'll have a look at their site and get a feel for what makes Nakadanasou so special.
