The story...

This is just one of those "just for fun" sort of projects that came exactly as it was imagined. You've seen it in movies like "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!" - where people find the everyday objects around them are suddenly much bigger than they are. Well, how far can you take that idea with just some random things around the house and a little time?

m2iwgroup art director, Matthew Williams stated "For some reason, I always thought the thumb joysticks on the 360 controllers looked like a set of small seats and the idea grew from there. Eventually, I'd like to get around to doing a series with the Nintendo Wii or a playstation as well."

The completed piece is composed of about 8 different shots taken around the studio and office and then composited in Photoshop. Perhaps the biggest challenge was in the photography itself as we had to plan ahead and control the lighting on each shot so that the lighting appears to come from the same direction in the final piece. This illusion is further helped along by some of the hand crafted shadows and lighting effects that were applied after the fact.
